Heavy loads and bolt impact will lead to ovality and wear and tear to the support. This results in joints with play, damaged equipment and problems with maneuverability. The play will accelerate quickly once it has first occurred and it is a time-consuming and costly job to repair it. The supports may need to be changed and new hubs welded on, followed by line boring.
